Robert “Ed” Smylie, the NASA official who saved the Apollo 13 crew in 1970, has died at 95. He cobbled together an apparatus made of cardboard, plastic bags and duct tape after an explosion crippled the spacecraft as it sped toward the moon. nyti.ms/3Sbusb3

Peter Dutton's promise to match Labor's Medicare commitments reminded me of this 2014 column I wrote. The Commission of Audit, an Abbott invention, wouldn't have recognised an accurate number right under its nose. I felt its numbers weren't right. So I checked. www.smh.com.au/opinion/tony...
Tony Shepherd's numbers on health don't add up
Tony Shepherd is the man in charge of the National Commission of Audit and is using inaccurate numbers to push an ideological ordinary-Australian-hating line.

I now have 10,000 followers here but over 5.9 million at the other place. If you want Me to switch for good I need you to get the word out that I'm here, pathetically desperate for worship (just like in real life), and filled with even more contempt for you here than I was there.
