Not taking anything away from Senator Padilla because he was treated atrociously

But I JUST want to remind everyone that the Congresswoman LaMonica McIver, a Black woman, was just indicted for just asking questions at an ICE detention center in her state

Keep that same energy of support for her

So it begins. Discussions are underway within the administration, and Pentagon, about deploying National Guard or active-duty troops to cities beyond Los Angeles. We’ll be sending updated guidance to all coalition members. Please follow every step, even if some sections seem irrelevant right now.

Members of Congress throwing up their hands and going, “What can we do about DOGE?”

THIS. You can do THIS. Thank you, @repstansbury.bsky.social, for going to your local Social Security Office and reporting back.
Today, I went to our Social Security Office to conduct Oversight and was denied access to meet with officials.

Instead, we were given a generic phone number in another state and denied entry past the waiting room.

Here’s what we found out ⬇️

“Home-growns”mean any of us. And with no guarantee of due process and administrative incompetence, this could be life sentences in El Salvador for any of us.

Feeling old watching an elder Bassment Jaxx at Coachella from the comfort of my couch. I dared to say out loud, “they were at the first Coachella” and then my husband remided me that we were also at the first Coachella. 😂

In 25 years of covering national security, I’ve never seen a story like this: Senior Trump officials discussed planning for the U.S. attack on Yemen in a Signal group--and inadvertently added the editor-in-chief of The Atlantic. www.theatlantic.com/politics/arc...
The Trump Administration Accidentally Texted Me Its War Plans
U.S. national-security leaders included me in a group chat about upcoming military strikes in Yemen. I didn’t think it could be real. Then the bombs started falling.
