Video games by day, video games by night.
Electronic music, NHL, RPGs, New Jersey.
The Pomodoro timer method works really well for me when I need to focus.
But sometimes I need variety, I re-download The Sims 3 with 40 gigs of expansions and see how much I can get done in the time it takes to install.

My new favorite Wiki is The Thirty-Six Dramatic Situations, and the examples chosen.
I know of no other article that cites Agamemnon (play) and Godzilla vs Kong (2021)

Ever since I was in college, whenever I have a writing intensive day I listen to piano solos. It kind of tricks my fingers into moving, and keeps things flowing.

While we're talking about wearables, I love this one. It's a GPS tracker for groups meant for times when you don't want to look at your phone, cell service is often interrupted, but you may need to find your friends. www.crowdcompass.io/collections/...

I am optimistic that tech can make experiences better. A wearable that serves as an audio interface could be useful, but anything coming to market would need to do better than a smart watch, and that bar is high.

I've been holding out on Forza Horizon 5 until its ps5 launch this Spring. Interested to see if any lapsed players come back. I'm thinking crossplay with PC will be big here. www.vgchartz.com/article/4640...

I like the FFXIV Black Milk collection (ordered the skirt & cactuar crop top!), but I feel like if you wear this out, you're signing yourself up for an infinity of "OMG is that from Wicked?! I LOVED that movie!!!!"

Very interested in how altstore.io will affect the iOS mobile landscape in the EU.
PWAs never really made their way into mainstream use. The idea of a native iPhone app not needing App Store approval is incredibly exciting.

I really enjoyed this layout from Reuters. As a cozy game propagandist, I'm completely on board.
These "microsite" experiences are quite special, I used to produce a large number of them in the mid-2010s. Would love to see them make a comeback.

Headed to the game later. As a Devils fan, I've accepted that I can have a good time with my family at a game regardless.
NJ Devils have lost 8 of their last 10. Please make the hurt stop 😭.

In my free time I've been bouncing between Infinity Nikki, Marvel Rivals, Echos of Wisdom, and (oldie but never played) Stanley Parable Deluxe.

I've recently learned some of the games and videos I worked on are now considered lost media? Very flattered and humbled by that, and reflecting on just how much the internet has changed in the last 15 years. It's a lot.

The migration from TikTok to Xiaohongshu/REDNote is fascinating. I don't post on these platforms, but I spend quite a lot of time on them. At the moment, new US users are seeing friendlier content than they are used to.

Severance is free for the next week on Roku streaming, and I cannot recommend it enough. I love a good consciousness narrative (Westworld, Nier, Chobits), though this one is (seemingly) all human and 0 robot.

Building up a new social media profile is so humbling. I'm thankful to see so many people on Blusky for many reasons, but also because it's so clean and easy to read compared to other platforms out there.

I'm so happy to see how clean and easy to use this platform is. Add me if you're into any of these things:

-Nier, Final Fantasy, and Square Enix properties
-Unicorn Overlord/Fire Emblem type strategy
-Agatha All Along
-Digital Circus
-Game development (my day job!) / journalism
-Physical media
