GOOD NEWS! Researchers have developed a heteromultivalent nanogel capable of killing some of the most dangerous bacteria known to medicine- with over 99.9% effectiveness against P. aeruginosa. It also showed strong antibacterial effects against other major threats, including E. coli and MRSA.

Another big difference in the Luminous Chronicle is WHAT Birb leads the flock.
Rather than contact-Meteion (who’s protected by Jherr and Phina, and disconnects from the migratory flock), it’s her next-youngest sister - the sister who met the people of Nibiru.
The Ktisis business is different too.

As the zone changes with quest progression, going back to the Scions will see them being perched on by more snoozing Meteia, who get bluer and bluer with time. Everyone starts out with one somber ash-coloured birb, but as Eiri and Dell and Yshan progress… the Grim Flock starts to break up.
