History, geography, language, Michigan sports, other random stuff. Will only discuss political issues from 1763 to 1940. No earlier, no later.
Agreed with that!

I'm just wondering where these 10 flights/day are coming from? Are they trying to take business from Willow Run? I do know that the University flies their jets out of Willow Run, so I guess that's an obvious customer for an expanded ARB.

Recheck the math. It's ~10 per day.

Still a lot, but not major airport level.

Yep. Long ago, an official explained to me "the goal line wraps all of the way around the world."

I think the CHL transfer rule doesn't come into effect until this summer. I don't see where Mr Seravalli is saying the transfers will be mid season.

Oh, I get that. Right now the official website has links for every sport to FB, IG, YT, and the other app.

Excellent, and thank you.

Yeah I did an informal look through the B1G athletic departments last week and 0 of 17 Big Ten baseball teams had official accounts here.

All 17 link to the other place through their official web pages.

Personally, the impediment for me is the official University of Michigan Athletic Department feeds for minor sports.

Right now the only way to get official softball (or whatever) updates is in Another Place.

So bug the powers that be to post here instead of--or in addition to--that place.

Keitt was exactly the same case, as Brooks' backup in the canning incident.

Giddings was the same but opposite. A radical abolitionist, Giddings resigned rather than accept censure for "inflammatory" debate, and his district returned him to Congress.

Yep. He was about to be censured, he resigned to avoid the censure, and ran unopposed for his own vacancy.

Michigan used to have a sprint football team.

George Allen was their coach in 1947.

It used to be 55% but now they have made it 65% of a regulation win.

Well, the Plymouth Canton high schools are fairly large too. They need a school district big enough to absorb 50 extra 11th and 12th grade boys every year.

And don't tell anybody from Minnesota where you think the hockey hub was. That MA v MN rivalry is deep, and why it had to be between the two.

But isn't that one of the issues? There is essentially one locker room in Yost, and that's the men's team's room.

No title IX issue if the women's team is a club team, but a huge issue if the women's team is a varsity team.

Regarding the rink in Plymouth, where would the USNTDP go? They picked SE Michigan years ago because of (1) big school district with good high schools, (2) easy access to major hub airport with international travel, and (3) most importantly, it's about halfway between Massachusetts and Minnesota.
