I'm late to this but it's notable: 33 Labour MPs have written jointly to the EHRC over their role providing guidance on the supreme court ruling on gender, saying:
• Consultation was too rushed
• Interim advice caused "distress and fear" to trans people
• Ruling does not mandate fewer rights.

🏳️‍⚧️🚨 New letter from MPs on trans rights & EHRC Consultation on the #ForWomenScotland ruling.

I have written a letter to the EHRC to urgently raise concerns about the Draft Code of Practice consultation after the ruling. I am proud to say that 32 of my colleagues have signed it too.

A screenshot of Nadia Whittome MP’s Instagram story: I know lots of trans people are very worried about the Conservatives' amendment (NC21) to the Data Bill. I've raised this with the government. If the amendment is voted on, the government would vote against it, and so it would fall and not be part of the Bill. It's still worth emailing your MP about the contents of the amendment, as well as the SC ruling and EHRC guidance, so they know that standing up for trans rights is a red line for their constituents
