So uh in case this wasn’t clear: laws are not magic words that bind the government. They’re just words on paper to be enforced at the pleasure of whoever feels they have the relative authority (and motivation) to enforce them on someone else

I hear what you guys are saying about the Oscars, and how they're a celebration of life, and the show must go on, blah-blah-blah, so-on-and-so-forth. It all makes a degree of sense, but to me it still feels like Nero fiddling while Rome burns. Or in this case, wearing fancy clothes while LA burns.

Can’t overstate how mad I am at @paramountplus.bsky.social for canceling Fraiser. Literally the only reason I got an account. We don’t even get any kind of wrap up or resolution for shows anymore and there’s nothing more infuriating than an incomplete storyline that will never be finished.
