Listen I’m not saying anyone should be storming the Capitol but contrast that with the resigned “oh well” post-election hand shrug of the Democrats when they should have been fighting tooth and nail every day from the Election until today shows exactly why they aren’t the leaders we can follow.

I hadn’t been on X in over a year and while I’ve been enjoying Threads there were a lot of people I was following on Twitter who I hadn’t migrated over — but now am following many of whom here — and it’s nice to see (read) folks again after some time!

When screaming into the void, remember to scream from the diaphragm (rather than the top of the chest and throat) so that you don’t lose your voice — because you’re gonna need that voice in the weeks, months, and years to come.

Jewish folks who are doing / interested in work and practice regarding counter-oppressive communal safety — ie keeping both Jews *and* all our neighbors safe — what skills, resources, and capacity building would be most valuable to develop and organize around?
