I've noticed the opposing team's fans only cheer when the opponents score on us. To win those fans over, I recommend we score on ourselves repeatedly; that will surely make them so happy they'll start supporting us. And I'm sure all our fans will keep cheering for us—who else is there to cheer for?

Every so often, I stumble across a band that I have not heard of but, upon listening, is my kind of thing. When that happens, I wonder if I have been ignorant or if it was some obscure act.

For my sanity, I have muted 'Whitlam', 'Dismissal' and 'Kerr' for the next 24 hours

an underrated part of this turducken of garbage is Elon posting an image of the Odyssey while discussing the Iliad, but it's all so terribly, terribly pathetic

It's 1:34pm and we are at risk of being deluged.
They are breaking the levees.
I think we might have reached the saturation point for articles about the Dismissal.

What we just witnessed was state-sanctioned Nazism
What on earth did the NSW Police think a rally organised by the National Socialist Network would be about?

This is definitely what I would be doing if I had just been handed close to a trillion dollars.
Joyce Carol Oates owned Elon so hard he's spent the last day posting about movies he hasn't seen in 15 years

It's a slightly different battlefield but it is the same match up in Australia and the UK (and probably more places)
It’s not left v. center or progressive v. liberal or anything like that. It’s fight v. don’t fight.

Something that has occurred to me from watching events in the US. In countries with 2 party systems, it would be good if the more left leaning party stopped electing members who had to take time to think which party they would feel more comfortable in.

It's always funny when people start talking about someone commencing proceedings against someone else as though it is a victory in itself

I can't even think what my reaction would be if half-time of an AFL game I was attending was used to swear in troops. I don't think I would think it good.

Love Reddit. There is a thread on a recent video. One of the comments is "I can't stand that guy. Here is a better video on the same topic" The video includes the original guy and was the genesis and is cited in the video to which they object
