My Trump supporting friends did so because he was pro life in 2016 and here we are in 2025 and they are supporting a convicted felon and alleged child rapist. Maybe it was never about pro life issues.

Watching the edited edition of answers by Farage to Laura K yesterday gave me the feeling that this is someone that has caused a train wreck and is desperately trying to walk away from the crime scene and blend in with the crowd.

I’ve seen two lengthy videos from the Dover protest yesterday and find it encouraging that it was so poorly attended. I think there were more people attending the local Pride event in our West Country town recently and there was most certainly a much better atmosphere.

After Trump was elected in 2016 I criticised him on social media and my American evangelical Christian friends said I should repent!? Obviously I didn’t but I’m hoping there will be a day soon when they repent for their support of him. I’d like sackcloth and ashes too plus photos.

If we are unfortunate enough to have Nigel Farage as the next PM I fear that he’ll not only take us out of the ECHR but also walk away from the 1951 Refugee Convention and probably the Council of Europe too.

Labour are sinking in the polls and losing supporters by the train load. Clearly their current offering is not working. If they want any chance of pulling back from their cheap as chips Reform identity crisis they should start to talk about Brexit and rejoining the SM and CU.
