baked beans and sausage entree for Knives Out, biscuits and tea and apple pie for dessert for Wake Up Dead Man...

Also, "Eve's Apple" is a recurring theme in the last movie so maybe some kind of apple dessert? Just musing, you could totally make each movie its own aspect of the meal. Pineapple mocktail and maybe virgin bloody marys (with hot sauce and cocktail onions??) for Glass Onion,

they're like tea biscuits--the thin kind with crimped edges

something with hot sauce for Glass Onion would be good--you could probably even print a fake Jeremy Renner label for it lol

When you marry off your daughter and immediately demote her husband so she’s in charge vs when you have to choose one of your cringefail sons to inherit your empire

I feel like a pushy salesman recommending this specific candy shop for the second time but literally yesterday I was perusing their website for holiday gifts and thought "wow that is a LOT of licorice, some of my mutuals would be thrilled." shanecandies.com/shop/?_searc...

iirc at one point the campus newspaper did an article about house mascots and most of them were, like, "a moose because of a decoration in the main hall" or "a crown because the house name is King." we were the only ones with "imaginary train" for some reason 🤷

when I was in college my dorm was super far from the gym and our house mascot was an imaginary train to the gym that everyone could take together so we wouldn't have to walk.

It just feels like the writers worked backwards. The thing that's REALLY wrong, obviously, was the catfishing, so they set up the whole plot to expose that without putting any work into the question of "why would this character go to the police?" and I just can't get over it.

So what went wrong for her? Was it loyalty to her dead husband? Was it an unexpected escalation? Did she have a vague sense that something was wrong/she was being catfished? Was it the ejaculation rather than the penetration itself? (There was a fake ejaculation.)

And again, obviously no one should experience any sexual act without their consent. Ever. But I don't understand this character's mindset AT ALL. She later mentions that being able to touch her partner's body was like a fun sexy "reward" that she was continuously denied.

The catfisher was using a single (?) finger, and the victim doesn't mention pain. She doesn't say that the catfisher was angry or violent in anyway. When the detective ask if she said no or used her safeword, she said she did but that the encounter was over by the time she had.

She's had eight sexual encounters with this person, all of which she's enjoyed. Her previous relationship with her late husband comes up a lot and there's no implication that they avoided penetrative sex, so that's not an issue.

After the last time, she goes to the cops and says she was assaulted because he penetrated her without her consent. (It's later revealed she was being catfished by a female friend.) But I'm just kind of baffled because they never... explain WHY she didn't consent?

The writer should be telling me, one way or another, what characters' motivations are.

Anyway, in this episode a woman matches with a guy on a dating app, exchanges lots of kinky texts and meets up with him several times, often blindfolded and tied by the wrists to the bed.
