He does deserve credit for this push, not saying otherwise. He remains a serial fraudster and criminal.

Elon is his own best enemy. He has no real friends or family to save himself from himself. He's surrounded by yesmen. He feels absolute and righteous and above the law. He will do and promise some crazy things. And he will ultimately be responsible for his own demise. #ElonQ

Couple that with the fact that Elon will need to sell more $TSLA next year, he will gradually turn his army of admirers into an army of disgruntled bagholders that want him to do something (anything!) to turn the stock price back up.
