Good to see the release of this copy, a republication edition of our journal special issue with the same title: w/ Yimin Zhao and Sin Yee Koh. It was a pleasant surprise when Taylor & Francis reached out in mid-November 2024 with a proposal to publish the above journal special issue papers as an edited volume. They had an editorial team that worked on the "Routledge Special Issues as Books programme", which seems to be actively looking for promising journal special issues that can be turned into an edited volume for wider audience reach.

I’m so honoured to be able to have this interview talking about my research. This is also a great opportunity for myself to look back and reflect on the trajectory.
The second in our series of research video interviews with colleagues in our Department is now available. This one is with @yiminzhao.bsky.social where he answers a range of our questions about the passage & progress of his research and the impacts he hopes it will achieve: tinyurl.com/25xub94a

This is indeed a rewarding journey to look into the overlooked cities collectively. Here is a brief report of what we did in 2023-24, and looking forward to further discussions in the future.
🔔 In this guest post, Dr Isolde de Villiers, Dr Yimin Zhao, and Dr Erwin Nugraha share their experiences from a series of seminars focused on Overlooked Cities, supported by a #USFSeminarSeriesAwards grant.
