Angela Rayner says in the Commons that she recognises Cornish national minority status and the uniqueness of Cornwall, and that she wants to do devolution “with the people of Cornwall, not to them”

Leader of Devon County Council seems to suggest that Cornwall is being insular and parochial by not accepting a Devonwall Mayor.

The more Devon politicians make such comments, the more it proves how right we are to reject Devon control. They have no respect for Cornwall or our national status.

Sickening to see Lib Dem MP @tessamunt.bsky.social and Wiltshire council leader Richard Clewer scoffing and sneering while Perran Moon talks about Cornish national status and our right to our own devolution.
