The old Schrodinger's tariffs. They'll bring down prices by making us all so rich we won't care while simultaneously being good to take away because that will bring down prices.

Trump has no economic plan other than tariffs. This is an admission he's clueless yet he's still celebrated.

This would explain why Johnson is working so hard to stall the release of the Epstein files. Move the goal posts as far as they can while the monster is alive and then blame everything on him the second he's dead without moving the goal posts back.

Otherwise there's no end game.

So good to have a President in office who isn't mentally declining like that awful Joe Biden and his seventeen million new jobs, higher wages, record high stock market, half a trillion dollars in manufacturing development, 60,000+ infrastructure projects, student loan cancellation, and whatnot.
He's trying to tell everyone to watch South Park?

Wasn't this always the plan? Agree to a cease fire. Get the hostages back. Then claim Hamas violated the conditions and resume the genocide?
The "ceasefire" does not seem to be going great

Dems should start talking about how he made the White House look like a gold plated pimpmobile. Don is about to shut down the government and you know he won't be able to resist defending how amazing all his gold is if he gets pushed on it. The more he tweets about his gold in a crisis the better.

So we're okay to cry at the U.N. about how renewables will never work because they rely on subsidies and then the following week we drop a few billion dollars on subsidies for the dying coal industry?

Got it. Makes just as much sense as any other damn thing these idiots do.
Energy Secretary Chris Wright on Fox: "We're announcing today expanded programs to help the American coal industry. We're helping it because for years it has been under assault. It was out of fashion with the chardonnay set in San Francisco, Boulder, and NYC ... coal just makes the world go round."

We have to accept that nothing matters unless it is reported. It doesn't matter what tariffs will do or what societal standards are ignored if it isn't reported as such. The public will believe Fox.

It is pointless to pressure Congresspersons. Pressure the media and Congress will follow.

This is the only way the truth can come out. The calls to release the Epstein files in any other fashion seem misguided. Do we think people who raped children are just going to hold the complete files in reserve out of a concern for destruction of property? Those files are gone. This is the way.
“Several of us Epstein survivors have been discussing creating our own list of names. We know the names. Many of us were abused by them.”

The only positive I can take from this is that RFK is proof that the problem isn't just Trump. It's the entire lot of these brain-addled idiots who make policy based on vibes or what their gut tells them their imaginary sky friend would want. Republicans are the party of stupid. All of them must go.

The importance of recording all of this cannot be overstated. Every act of cruelty or incompetence must be documented. When elections come around it won't be enough to have a general sense that the last two or four years has been an endless litany of bullshit. We'll need proof.

In my practice we seek discovery of potentially damning information up to a point. Then we pivot to telling the jury "We asked for this repeatedly and they never turned it over. What does that tell you?"

It's time for Dems to pivot. The refusal to disclose is better than the files at this point.
REP. @rokhanna.bsky.social : “Only 3% of the documents that were given to us were new. 97% were already in the public domain. Less than 1% of the Epstein Files have actually been released. They’re stonewalling and not releasing things.”

This should be an easy opportunity for Dems to NOT focus on this culture war distraction, point out that despite all his promises prices are going WAY up, and note that this is the President's priority while American families are struggling to put food on the table.

But they probably won't.
