According to federal data, 13 of the top 20 cities in homicide rates have Republican governors. None of those cities are Chicago.

8 of the top 10 states in homicide rates are led by Republicans. None of those states are Illinois.

And yet Trump is sending troops here.

I was so impressed with Indivisible activists at today's Worcester MA protest. They came prepared, protected, educated the public, & inspired us. Proud to stand with them at this moment in American history. We won't concede this country to Trump. He'll have to fight us for it! These are OUR STREETS!

"Christians" in Congress ignoring Jesus's command to not pray in public (Matthew 6:5-7) to beseech permission to ignore Jesus's command to give to the poor (Matthew 19:21) with their hideous Big Ugly Bill.

These are not Christians. They are selfish scoundrels who only pretend to follow Jesus.

It's like having a motion deadlock in a public body vote.
For those curious, that's the way a 4-4 decision works. No one writes because there is no precedent created. The lower decision just stands.

Here is my report from argument. Hard to imagine anyone other than Roberts having been the one to vote with the liberals. www.lawdork.com/p/scotus-okl...
SCOTUS majority appears likely to OK nation's first religious charter school
A ruling for Oklahoma's charter school board would further increase the role of religion in public life — and change public education in America.

This is a great example of how problems get addressed in Worcester

Step 1: residents identify serious problem
Step 2: 1 of 3 reliable Councilors demand action
Step 3: Council talks in circles for hours
Step 4: CM takes small, optics driven action that does nothing
Step 5: declare victory

Meanwhile, leaders at both the local and state level keep demanding that we accept that ICE's actions are legal, must be obeyed, and any resistance is bad.

I expected better. I guess that was naïve.
