I used to do work but now I don’t. Have doctorate but forgotten everything about it. I like long novels mainly detective and science fiction. I like cinema, increasingly non-English & watching TV. I’m learning Portuguese because I live in Portugal.
Which other complete bastard would you prefer as PM?

Another problem not often mentioned is piracy. I know people who haven't paid to see a film for years. This is hardly ever mentioned.

If Paramount buys Warner Brothers its the same argument. The Ellisons would lay off thousands and increase the use of AI. I think there are 4 big issues in Hollywood, not enough films being made, quality is low, too many IP remakes and cinema tickets too expensive.

I watched it the other day, it was better than I thought it would be. The acting is good. The end is a bit unsatisfactory but if you think about it it kind of makes sense. I'd give it 4 stars.

I think your assessment is correct, pretty good. I found the last third annoyingly repetitive. Overall it felt a bit overlong but interesting enough.

Neither had I until I saw his 16th book in Waterstones. I decidided to read all 16 in a row, half way through book 4 at the moment, it's interesting to see the writing and characters developing through the series.
