there's also another earlier version where i had emphasized the highlights and shadows even *less* than the one i released on bsky, so I think it's something I had trouble with - my test is ultimately seeing whether this art is readable at a smaller scale with blurrier vision

as a test, I also upped the contrast and i think I like this one more now...i feel like higher contrast was what this piece was missing and will be keeping it in mind as a way to make environmental scenes look better!
