So this is the new Player Character!

For the MVP it'll not be 8 directions but 4 for simplicity as I want to make also the equipment visible ... which is interesting haha.

Next will be the walk animations for the 4 directions.

The first thing I did was to implement Auto Jump.

Was requested several times by people testing the game as it's a bit annoying RN to walk around otherwise.

Waves is done!

For now at least. It can be really hard, on the video I fail to do it haha (last wave was impossible).

But as there are missing parts on the combat I'll balance it afterwards.

Combat and Waves implemented and success of the objective!.

Now the only part missing is to make the mobs not roam around but actually try to attack the objective unless the player is in range.

Also there'll be more than 2 waves 🤣

Defend the objective first steps.

Diamond added on the game to an area and once you step on it the area is walled off.

Next thing is to start spawning the waves of mobs that will try to attack the Diamond.

So as the Defend the objective was voted the most. I've worked on the Objective the protect first.

X amount of hits will corrupt it until it's totally corrupted in which then the Objective is lost and you'll be able to retry.

Now I've added chests to the maze so it has an objective!

There are a total of 9 chests and you have to find 3.

Also made it so inside the maze you can only auto-move 10 tiles ahead.

I think with this I'll consider Mazes done for now 🥳

Ok this maze looks much better haha.

Still not perfect, need to add the objectives in it (some chests to find). Some assets are still missing so I'm using the block. The doors to not be able to just click and traverse (as on the video) are missing.

So now you can select which class you want to play with!

* Fighter
* Ranger
* Mage

Later I'll add right side on the menu that will tell you how works in terms of movements and attacks

And for the last one the Magic combat style.

This one is fun because every 2 moves it'll make AOE damage and if does not hit an enemy it'll try to make a front or back AOE damage hehe.

Now I'll start implementing them

Mock on how the Melee combat will work.

Aside from this the player will be able to select 2 active abilities, but the main focus will be on this moves.

Now I have to mock the Range and Magic. The mobs will only have the normal attack.

Player+Mobs movement is now smoother!

So I decided, as it was commented several times, to do it now as it would improve a lot also the quality of the videos shared hehe

New mobs can now attack! ... though it mostly impossible to catch them haha

I'll add some kind of "leap" to all the 3 types of default player combat styles, which I still have to even work on haha.

Added 3 different combat styles (melee=red, range=green, magic=blue), changed the mob colors and now selecting them shows the range of each one.

Now I'll have to make the Range and Magic attack and pathfind to that range.
