Anyone have a good recommendation for a Canadian-made SAD treatment lamp? The one UBC recommends as a Canadian company doesn't ship to Canada despite allegedly being based in Halifax.

I had a trauma from more than 20 years ago triggered tonight, so that's fun. My day started in a dark place (literal and mental) and basically ended the same.

I am technically a citizen of both Canada and the US.

I'm back in Canada now and plan to relinquish my US citizenship. At this rate, I don't know if I will ever enter the US again.

I went to a meeting today in a different building and two of the office staff had their dogs there.

I got to pet the dogs.

It's always a good day when I get to pet a dog. ❤️

I ordered a cheese kit today. I have been talking about "getting back into cheese making" for months, it's time to walk my talk.

Next I need to build a cheese press and buy a used wine fridge to age the cheese in. As if I don't have enough hobbies. 🧀

My new side job doing retail has such a generous employee discount that I may never actually make money there. Just get a big upgrade to my kitchen tools.

Update to my life in one post:
- I accidentally got a second job where I get to hang out with foodies
- I have been asked to be in promotional videos for my main employer
- I recently hit the one-year mark at my job, after being unemployed for almost a year
- I have eaten far too much raw garlic

It's me. I'm the world's leading expert on blind girls in pre-ww1 Canada and a famous youtuber.
Honestly I can't remember the name of anyone in high school other than my best friend.
Who was in your high school graduating class, +/- two years, that would be of interest?

For example, I took a basketball class and graduated w/all-time 8th man Jud Buechler (look it up), and may have followed Stephanie Seymour (not sure if she still WENT to school after I moved there).

Now that it's dark at 5pm, Kali insists we go to bed then. She really has to push hard (meow, rub, meow, nudge) to let me know it's bedtime. Until I actually get ready for bed, then it's time to run wildly around the house 😂
