i'm honestly more surprised that the backpack evidence wasn't thrown out alongside these charges because of all this failure of policy

and frankly I don't know how much mockery I can throw at the DoJ this time around if they succeeded in getting the packback contents entered as evidence. So many of us assumed those would be thrown out due to poor proceduring

The articles I've read so far are saying that the federal stalking charges are still being prosecuted.

And the judge approved the feds for entering the backpack contents as evidence.

And of course none of this has an effect on state charges
