Hello @conmachiavel.bsky.social how are you doing after that covid infection ~7 weeks ago? have all your symptoms resolved?

Yes the propaganda has been extremely effective.

I'm convinced if people knew the facts on covid then more than half would mask voluntarily

Disappoint to see covid referred to in past tense

New people are still becoming disabled from long covid. The ongoing pandemic is being covered up and public health are complicit. It just opens space for antivaxxers

What is happening with covid dont be surprised if farright does with measles/polio

Wow. Where is this from?

In case you want advice from an internet stranger, we know that long covid is associated with inadequate rest during the acute phase www.thelancet.com/journals/lan... So I suggest you avoid exercise for about 8 weeks /end

Even Trump and Boris Johnson sought to protect people from covid back in 2020. Anyone erasing the ongoing covid pandemic is not on my side. Denying the ongoing public health crisis is a farright project. All the best to you but watch out that you dont become like your farright enemies

"During the covid pandemic" is right now. The erasure of the ongoing public health crisis from covid goes hand in hand with rising far-right politics. If you're apathetic to those hurt by covid dont be surprised if others are apathetic about Trump/fascism/far-right politics.

That video talks about the covid pandemic in the past tense. The linked paper also

Denial of the ongoing pandemic only worsens the public health crisis. And further erodes trust. People see around them covid still spreading and long covid continues to make the young and healthy permanently disabled

That 409 million figure only considers first symptomatic infections, so it must be a huge underestimate

Yes, I stopped triggering it so it didn't happen again. However it would happen from light sensitivity so I had to spend 16 months in a dark room. Got out with antivirals for reactivated EBV/VZV, and treating reactivated Lyme. I'm still bedbound right now though
