Many people out there enjoy hiking, cycling or gymming. They'd be interested to know how their next covid infection could end that for them forever. #longcovid
Long Covid Can Stop People Exercising No hiking. No gym. No sports. No playing with the kids. People with Long Covid can become unable to exercise because that makes them unwell. Might get burning sensation on skin, rashes, nausea, tremors, muscle weakness, fatigue, brain fog, body pains, double vision, dizziness, temporary paralysis, sleep disturbance, fever, shivering or others An invisible disability. Heading: Long Covid Can Cause a Suffocating Breathless Sensation Body: You feel like you are drowning 24/7, strangled from within. A black hole in your lungs that can't be filled. Attempts to force more air in don't work because there's already enough air in you - it just isn't being used/processed fast enough. You get stuck in an endless cycle of your body trying to force you to yawn as if to correct something but it can never actually finish the yawn. The 1/20 times when you maybe do manage to get a satisfying breath it only lasts for 2 seconds before the air hunger resumes. It's an unrelenting torturous mindfuck with zero respite and zero help. Some instead get jolted awake after 4-5 hours of sleep and find it impossible to sleep again. Some get nonrestorative sleep. Waking in morning feeling exhausted like they havent slept at all.
