Even crazier: the blooming onion originated in New Orleans. The owner of outback used to work down there at a restaurant called Russell’s that still sells it, it think. They were called onion mums. I’m not sure where Australia even fits in here. All the food there is standard American cuisine
Outback is wild, its like if an Indian restaurant had servers who randomly yelled things like "namaste!" and "yoga!" at customers but for Australia

I don’t like “forever” flowers. I would just rather receive the equivalent of living flowers. The concept of being gifted already dead (dehydrated) flowers don’t sit right with me. They look pretty in the box, though.
