Mozi wasn't just a renowned philosopher, but an inventor of early machinery). Don't they look so silk punk! A lot of the cool mechanical contraptions you see in Chinese historical fiction and wuxia fantasies probably take as much influences from Warring States 墨家机关 as stuff like #steampunk. 2/2

There's lots of stories about Judge Bao and the seven swordsman who worked for him, they turn up from time to time in current Cdrama, in fact there's a whole series about them which should be coming out soon! 2/2

Thank you! I really liked Lost in the Kunlun Mountains which you've already picked up there👍 (based on a novel by the great daomo novelist TXBC). One that I loved from a few years ago was The Long Ballad. I probably watch more Wuxia or A.U. stuff that historical, but will have a think!
