I’m a big fan of these films from the 50s through the 70s. The sweet spot (maybe?) ends with Donner’s “The Omen” in 76 but this one came in a couple of years prior.

Clearly went by several different titles.

I kid you not: I’m still finding things he did that I had no idea were his. One of the best to ever do it.

I like it quite a bit.

I still remember when a friend played that first album for me. I had no idea you could be that kind of cool with that kind of rock and roll.

And the songs are still amongst my favorites.

Also: my all time favorite VHS big box.

I really love this movie and this type of horror. Eggers delivered on this one in ways I felt I had been waiting my whole life for.
