I think someone’s view on trans rights is a good indicator as to whether I want to spend time with them, much less support them as a politician! Bc why are you mad about people living their lives!

I think that, in the last 10 years of people doing mental gymnastics to “justify” who they vote for, a certain sense has arisen that people no longer have moral convictions, only political beliefs that should be amenable to ‘new’ or ‘conflicting’ information about that belief.
