Juvie Mr. Anna's is quite proud of his patchy gorget!

He would like to lodge a complaint with management about this whole winter thing, however. No one warned him about this!

These are mystery seedlings. I collected these seeds last summer but didn't label the seed packet 🙃. 🌱

Favorite hybridizers: Arthur Bliss. 'Duke Of Bedford' from 1919 is richly colored and really catches the eye. It was a great grower and bloomer for me. 🌱 A child of the 'Dominion' I posted yesterday.

Winter in zone9B Desert is disorienting for me bc the extended darkness is super weird/extremely dry, nearly zero-humidity supercold🥶
A raspberry🧁 from TJ's fixed me up well enuf, but it is still dark 2 hours later. Here are some edited snaps of the gardens in back.
a passion flower vine that nearly died after 2025 incredibly brutal summer heat, zone 9 b Sonoran Desert, caught in the partial early morning light of South Mountain Park with a honey Mesquite tree obstructing most of the dimly lit,sky view a deeply blue long stemmed pedal covered plant next to a barrel shape cactus cold a red-headed Irishman which has a circle of fuchsia colored flowers growing upon it in a pot in front of the Blue Waters of an inground pool. r a c e m e a cluster of orangey yellow flowers shaped like a pyramid upon a woody looking stem of an aloe vera plant. watercolour filter upon a photograph I took of new leaves upon the passion flower vine, growing on the wall that separates neighboring yards. my neighbor has an interesting array of trees in the distance, which include two dead palm trees and one with quite a bit of debris hanging from it. in the distance too, there is a tree which is out of season and completely denuded. in the near foreground or orange flowers of a flowering TECO Maria capensis. zone 9B Sonoran Desert
