Xen: Ariel's viera (wanted since I saw the HW concept). Male Au Ra was the race I liked the second most (one of my favorite body types), but struggled with face 2 hiding eyes in cutscenes (but hot, thanks Begter). 1 angry and 4... special. 3 took some work (eye shadow), but I love my Xen.

Don’t even need to update it. Just release it exactly as it is on the Switch (I know, wrong console so never gonna happen), and I’ll go nuts with it all over again. I literally just bought it off eBay for my boyfriend’s PS2 in the hopes I can maybe play on his sometime.

Xen has no idea what became of his parents after he was kidnap-rescued by the Buduga. He was only around 6 and has almost no memories of them, so has no idea how he’d even try looking for them if he wanted to.
He’s happy where he is now though. Finding new family.

Xen has no idea what became of his parents after he was kidnap-rescued by the Buduga. He was only around 6 and has almost no memories of them, so has no idea how he’d even try looking for them if he wanted to.
He’s happy where he is now though. Finding new family.

I’m always leery of ships because headcanon land gets *very* aggressive with their ideas and I just can’t with all of it. It’s fine if you wanna massage the lore a little for your story, but stop pushing it on people.
Especially when you went from “massaging” to “basically an OC with NPC’s name.”

Xen is a Raen that was kidnapped/rescued during a visit to Reunion with his uncle and has been with the Buduga since. However, he was a miserable warrior, which was a poor lot for a tribe of fighters. He mostly served as cook and medic until he met a visiting Arcanist in Reunion.

That very much depends. Xen doesn’t think of himself as someone people confide in. He has a lot of imposter syndrome in friendships. So if you want him to keep something secret you pretty much have to explicitly tell him, or he’ll assume it’s something that you’re sharing with everyone.

My old main I went in with the understanding that I had joint custody of Ariel with SE. I knew he was friendly and open, but guarded around sex. But I let them help shape him and changed things with their writing. Most notably realizing that he cared more about Haurchefant than I did.

Xen leans on the side of predictable. He’s usually reserved and falls into unwritten routines. Among the Buduga, it was easy to find him in his room either a book if he wasn’t doing some chore.
However, he can surprise even himself with spontaneity when a new goal catches his attention.

Xen leans on the side of predictable. He’s usually reserved and falls into unwritten routines. Among the Buduga, it was easy to find him in his room either a book if he wasn’t doing some chore.

Xen’s only had his chocobo for a little while, but Horsebird has grown on him. As long as he’s kept clean.

Xen’s only had his chocobo for a little while, but Horsebird has grown on him. As long as he’s kept clean.
After a dice game ended with Xen’s rutmate having to clean Horsebird 3 times, the ‘bo has decided he prefers Rhux’s cleanings to Xen’s.

Not sure on exact patch, but I joined in mid-late StB and my fc mates were really hopeful to have me join them for a savage static in ShB… and they’d all drifted off by the time I caught up to current. 😅 I think it was around .1 or a little before because we did squeeze in a little Titania EX.

Reduced are Drybone, Forgotten Springs and Ul’dah. I’m saving Drybone for our return to Eastern Than and FS seems a good choice for Titan arc.

Xen is my baby in ARR with my Sir/boyfriend. He’s got return to Limsa for frequent GC turn-ins and cheaper tps to job quests, free Gridania as farthest city. Reduced are Drybone, Forgotten Springs and Ul’dah. I’m saving Drybone for our return to Eastern Than and FS seems a good choice for Titan arc.
