So...Millennials are the middle children of the current generations?

I made it a grand total of 13 hours.

For me, it was the university theater gardens when I was walking back to my car...on December 1...

Lord of the Rings and it should be 0th.

Excuse me, "The Skies of Pern".
December 12, 2025 at 5:08 AM
My dad would read "The Hobbit" to us when we were kids. They're still some of my most favorite memories.

I can't remember which Pern book I picked up first; might have been "Dragonriders of Pern". I remember doing an English assignment using characters from the book.

Years ago I remember reading "Lirael" (STILL my favorite book), but the cover had a weird thing on it, "Advance Copy Not For Sale" or something.

I wish I could track it down now.

Caps For Sale is so good.

Man, Anne McCaffrey was formative for my love of fantasy. I had a chance to meet her son Todd a few years ago, but he got covid and had to drop out of the event.

Unironically, this is probably best in 3C+ decks. In Alela (the first one), it's an artifact that 1) ramps, 2) finds me another land for a T3 commander, and 3) an artifact that makes a creature. Probably the best rock in the deck.

I love how versatile she is: tokens, X-spells, Voltron, MLD, control... Just any 99 cards and a dream.

That's amazing. Hope spreads by example.

Shot off an email with my submission. Hopefully there's something in there that interests you.

They're EVERYWHERE in Utah, but there's one in Las Vegas, one in Costa Mesa (CA), and a few scattered around the rest of the West.

No, if you want *official* tchotchkes, head over to any Deseret Book. It is the highest concentration of LDS-per-LDS you will find anywhere, the very DEFINITION of "Utah Mormon".

Dude stuck with his wife through EVERYTHING, and is hands down one of the best examples of a positive male role model in anime history.

Unlike THAT guy...and the other one too...

There's also 100 years of separation between the two, not to mention the building materials. We rarely use granite anymore; it's mostly marble.

Still run it in my MLD Lord Windgrace deck. Can't get board wiped.

"Mechanically inferior". No, mechanically *different*. I'm tired of people crapping on D&D editions, or heck even other game installments like Diablo. I like that part of this game and this part of that game. They serve different functions for me.

I say this as a professional UB hater, so...salt.

Vertically there's about a half- to a full inch when almost touching, but horizontally there's almost no room, maybe an eighth between all the cards. This is all off memory. Actual math below.

Card - 63x88mm
Playmat - 609.6x355.6mm (24"x14")

So that's actually 9x4. Even better!

I usually have an 8x3 when I'm sorting on a regular-sized playmat. Have not tried a vertical arrangement.

Don't you DARE pretend you haven't made comments like this.
