Dude stuck with his wife through EVERYTHING, and is hands down one of the best examples of a positive male role model in anime history.

Unlike THAT guy...and the other one too...

Innistrad snakes are just built different. I love the elegance of these designs.

Every time I play this deck: www.mtggoldfish.com/deck/4750778...

Should we start making exceptions for those cards? Delver of Secrets was intended to be just a blue 1-drop and blew up every format it was in. Wolfir Silverheart was supposed to be the green bomb, and bomb it did. Skullclamp's /-1 was intended as a nerf, and yet made it far stronger. 3/X

When talking about this issue, I default to a single statement: intent ends where mechanics begin. Yes, hybrid cards were INTENDED to be played in monocolor decks, but so was Fire//Ice and Neurok Stealth Suit and Elbrus, the Binding Blade and Valentin, Dean of the Vein. 2/X

How about a Lightning Bolt version? 1 Bolt, starts in the graveyard, and each player fights over it. Or perhaps 14 Bolts (42 damage, enough to kill one player while leaving the other alive) with no way to reuse them, but you fight over the deck.

How about a Triskaidekaphobia variant? It starts in the center and triggers on each player's turn. The deck is all life gain and loss, trying to force the other person to 13. (I also just realized these are all Innistrad cards.)

Also Gravecrawler might be interesting, since it would have to play off itself. With board wipes, it might be disadvantageous to cast all of them so you can keep up protection.

In the vein of Forgetful Fish, I'd love to see more decks built around interesting creatures or spells. For example, I want to build Treacherous Pit-Dweller. What are come cards that might be interesting with this? My first thought was Endless Whispers.

I'm assuming it's the cutest darn stinkslinks in Magic?

You can see her weapon in the bottom left and her wing in the top left. The mana cost has three circles, and the set symbol is also pretty clear.

I have a foil Captain's Claws that has this card's foiling on it. Snagged it from a friend who I think pulled it? Or maybe he traded it from the person who pulled it.

Reminds me of this.

Repeatable Shock. This was Standard legal.

WAIT. Not sure if this was intentional, but I just saw "Tommy" and it was on my mind.

@icyveins.bsky.social So when is the D2 amazon's calculator getting fixed? It's showing Impale as Penetrate and has been for years.

Also, how about a proper Mileva card instead of sticking her in a hat?

Give Howard Lyon his angel! Isobel cries for a card!
