In seriousness I hope that in 2025 we can see a revival of a feminism worth the name—one committed to the eradication of rape, sexual harassment, abortion bans, domestic violence, femicide, and all the other violence and indignity imposed on women because they are women.

the thing about critical media consumption is that it gets soo tiring.. sometimes i just want to be entertained and feel good without looking at what the goals are, what is being depicted, what is being normalised, who does it benefit, what is it in opposition of and why ;-;

(The real explanation for this behaviour is they don't care. They do not care because they're not the ones who'll be affected. Everyone the trump admin kills is someone the democrats can perform shock and outrage over for funding while not intending to actually do anything about it)
