Pardon my language, but I can't believe that today we saw the fucking shit-headed decision to drop the case against Trump in Georgia. One of the excuses was that disgusting idea that a sitting president can't be tried.

Be careful when people approach you gathering signatures.
In Massachusetts there have been people gathering signatures to eliminate recreational marijuana sales. At least some of those people have lied about what the signatures were for. They claimed they were for things like affordable housing.

It's weird to not only have lived through an information revolution but also now living through its undoing, all within less than a generation.
Google at its peak was basically the best information retrieval system in human history and they and every competitor decided going from there to “you didn’t want answers you wanted half-assed auto-complete 80%-wrong hallucinations” in a few years was the right idea

I'm back home. I'm glad to see my cat isn't too upset with me for being gone. Since I inherited her last year the longest I've been away from her was 2 nights. This was 4 nights. Even though one of my local friends was caring for her while I was gone I didn't know how she'd take it.
