JUST IN: A federal judge has temporarily blocked Trump administration efforts to deport a Palestinian activist who helped lead protests at Columbia University.
This is everything that is wrong with this country (plus capitalism at all costs). When the fuck did we get to a place where being an anti-racist is “too political”. The fact that was we have argue about this is the reason why we’ve gotten here
Not only will researchers doing important work related to social inequity be affected by this at NSF (and other agencies), so will many others who don't. Tell me again (some of) my colleagues that universities shouldn't have anti-racist and social justice missions. www.chronicle.com/article/shou...
