Oh! I also just remembered that when I was a kid the D&B near me had a mechwarrior game where an attendant sealed you and your friends into big mech pods with projected screens on all sides, it cost a ton of tokens for no tickets and was probably one of the best video game experiences I've ever had.

I had remembered a Bionicle ad where a Bohrok was using an iMac mouse and thought I'd reply to this with "the only hands that were ever built to use that peripheral," but I found the ad and turns out even the little ball robot monsters preferred the oval shaped one that came after. 😅

Back when it was in Standard I was really fond of Mishra's Bauble. I have a soft spot for most 0-drop artifacts though (ornithopter my beloved).

Morbid curiosity got the best of me and I bought the $25 Android tablet Five Below had for Black Friday. My favorite detail is you can see the exact outline of where the motherboard ends and they tapered in the shell to save 5¢ of plastic. It plays OSRS/Goat Simulator though so I'm happy with it.

And don't get me started on the aftermarket stuff. Whole ass additional CPU cooler ass fan tower, this is just unnecessary.

This is probably too niche an opinion for most people to care about, but looking at SSDs made me realize we really need to come up with a max height standard for heatsinks on m.2 drives. Lookit this ridiculous thing, that's not fitting in half the spots they pot m.2 sockets these days.

Honestly I tend to be bored in the afternoons anyway, seems like a good after-lunch thing to do.

Yeah, they're hard to photograph but this is probably one of the better pictures I took of them while they were still alive, the glow is more noticeable in person though. In full daylight the blooms are just white, if that gives an idea of how much an effect the glow has on the color here.

I'm on a list called "worldwide friends" that says it's for "friendly and smart people around the world." This feels like a compliment so it's a tad confusing I'm blocked? I'm now wondering if this person meant this as a follow list of some kind and got the labels mixed up 😅
