I see a general strike as unsubscribing to monthly subscriptions. Boycott Amazon is possible by canceling Prime subscriptions, protesting Whole Foods. Cancel Hulu, cancel facebook, cancel X. Anything you're paying for, you could stop. Hit the tech in the pocket and the guys on the inauguration stand

Our legacy media endlessly perpetuates the assumption, for which there is no evidence, that Elon Musk is a comic book super genius inventor. So they never shift to the assumption, for which evidence abounds, that he's just a cheap charlatan sabotaging human progress for his own benefit.

He keeps announcing all these world-changing breakthroughs that will be here juuuust far enough in the future as to not be here quite yet, but juuuust close enough that people stop working on actual solutions to those problems, and nobody ever calls him on the fact that he is very obviously lying.

Musk just shifted his claim from a mars colony (so difficult as to be impossible, basically) to a moon colony (far less difficult but still so difficult as to be impossible, basically) and media greeted it with the same po-faced credulity as all previous claims despite all available evidence.
