More Christians speaking up for the people Jesus would've spoken up for would be very welcome.
NEW: Pope Leo’s newly appointed Bishop, Michael Pham, outside the court in San Diego:

“We need to speak up for the voiceless in our society - and we will.”

The video then shows masked ICE agents leaving without snatching anyone today.

More of this resistance nationwide! 👏

High school seniors in Mississippi will no longer have to pass a U.S. history test to graduate after the State Board of Education voted to eliminate it this fall.

Mary Werner, the lone dissenting vote, warned that it will hurt students.

The biology, algebra and English assessments will remain.

Today in history, 2015: A white supremacist with a gun took nine precious lives from us during Bible study at Emanual African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, S.C. No place is safe from gun violence, not even places of worship.

Rest in power, beautiful souls. 🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️

Hahaha. So dumb.
DON JR: They talk a lot about the rhetoric & the violence and it seems to be caused mostly by them

NN: You don't think everybody has to turn it down?

DON JR: I'm seeing it come from the left. The guy in Minnesota seems to be a leftist.

NN: He voted for your dad

JR: I'll believe it when I see it

I once posted on Twitter that any white person who reflexively opposed antifa would likely have been opposed to the civil rights demonstrations of the sixties. People got VERY mad, but I was just summarizing the data.
I just like to post these data from time to time to puncture the mythological aura of mid 20th c protests. They were less popular than pretty much any 21st c mass action & people criticizing them used the same lines. Protest is about people coming together, shaping narratives, & building power.

Today in history, 1921: The Tulsa Race Massacre begins. Thousands of whites rioted in Tulsa’s Greenwood District, killing hundreds of African Americans and burning their homes and businesses. It’s one of the worst incidents of racial violence in U.S. history. /1

I think the way to turn this administration’s tanking polls around is to have this creep talk about his plans for our children as much as possible.
Stephen Miller: "Children will be taught to love America. Children will be taught to be patriots. Children will be taught civic values for schools that want federal taxpayer funding ... we're gonna make sure these funds are not being used to promote communist ideology."
