I requested a Covid vaccine at a local clinic. The muse said their request was denied by the state of WV. Covid vaccine is only available at pharmacies or health departments. Who benefits from this policy? The vaccines are not available to rural areas.

It’s been a wildlife week in WV. Three groundhogs attacking the flowers, seven deer, a very red squirrel and tonight a bear.

In late 1970’s I was WV governor’s liaison to industry.Visited corporate Hq as aging plants were being closed.Felt for workers as we navigated layoffs and benefits.Air and water pollution= $$ fix, as were wages,unions & old technology.Plants moved out of USA aided by foreign gov 💰.

A man stopped by and ask if we owned the bamboo above our home. They were from a local Restaurant and want to harvest the shoots. We're guessing that bamboo is one of products stuck in ports from China. 😳

After reading all the posts about the vice chairman of the DNC I think a party leader supports the party incumbents. Party leaders should not use its resources to pick a candidate in a primary. If Hogg wants to be a like Trump supporting only those who are loyalists step down!

In red state WV people were out expressing their opinion on the current administration’s chaos. Good sized crowd, orderly, picked up their trash didn’t block traffic or pedestrians. Old folks with walkers and young people with children and strollers. 🥰

Close friend just won her appeal to receive leave and retirement from a federal agency that tried to fire her. She was prepared and won! Well documented her case and demanded a ruling of her request from her agency. I believe she is smarter than Elon. 😉

All my life I have studied democratization and autocratization. My 1st field trip was to newly democratic Argentina. I then added autocracies to my portfolio: Cuba, Ven, etc. I think I can recognize the stages of transition to authoritarianism. Here are the boxes Trump has already checked off.
