A lot of roaring and snapping would have ensued, but that's just the frenzy. It's not social or cooperative behavior.

That's probably why so many tyrannosaurids have the teeth of their buddies broken off in their snouts - when everyone is eating at the same time (i.e. tearing off chunks of meat the size of a washing machine), it's inevitable that someone's gonna take a bite out of someone else's snout by accident.

Do fossil tracks indicate they hunted together? Maybe. More likely it indicates they hung around the same places waiting for an unlucky hadrosaur to blunder along...

That's likely the case when fossil remains may look like several theropods were working together. They weren't. They were just eating some poor victim at the same time and snapping at each other for the best parts while the little ones scampered in and out of the madness to snag scraps and gristle.

It's a feeding frenzy.

Crocodiles will attack the same prey, but they're not "pack hunting." It's just a bunch of crocs (or gators, depending on where you are) trying to eat something at the same time. Komodo dragons and sharks do the same thing. It's not cooperation.

At that point you may find that the arbitrary name of a day or a dead tree doesn't matter so much.

Reach out and help someone less fortunate. Donate time if you can't donate money. Give freely, and without thought of recompense. Forgive a wrong that has been done you. Apologize for a wrong you have done.
Just do something good. It's easy once you get started.

And just like that, my account was reinstated because...reasons? Who knows?

Honestly, I'm not sure I'm all that upset about it. Endless spam ads, AI slop content, unable to see friends' content without searching for it. FOMO is becoming JOMO I think.
