In queer spaces, parenthood is often met with so much disdain; largely a pushback against all the heteronormativity that's been shoved down our throats. I get it! But it makes for such a lonely path as a queer parent.

They should have been chaining themselves to the doors of the Treasury building this whole weekend. That’s actually probably one of the more *boring* things they could have been doing

I will say that Senator Becker was very receptive to hearing from me and went above and beyond to get ahold of me when she wasn't able to see me in Indianapolis (she left me her home phone number - promising!).
