📚🪐Yumi and the Nightmare Painter is such an interesting read.
The story develops pretty slowly through the middle portion of the book, but it makes sense as a relationship is building between the main chracters.
It's definitely worth reading. #booksky

📚🪐Backed the Brandon Sanderson Secret Projects Kickstarter three or four years ago and while I got the books over the course of 2023, I finally got to them this year. (I actually read Wind and Truth first)

Tress was a solid book, and I enjoyed Frugal Wizard a lot more than I was expecting

You ever think about how "secret" pedophile Trump crashed our economy in his first term, then got elected again because he was needed to um... *checks notes* save our economy(?)
But no, he's crashing it again. And even faster this time.
Shocking.

Imagine a world where Senate Democrats had demanded that Trump's entire bill be repealed instead of just getting the ACA credits back.

They could have negotiated down to the ACA credits and could have gotten some other concessions as well.

Instead they asked for the bare minimum and then caved.

Everyone needs to spam the Senate Dems that vote to reopen the government without any concessions whatsoever with multiple copies of the Scorpion and the Frog.

The GOP will give them nothing and we'll all drown.

I mean, everyone's gonna lose because Trump can't run a casino that makes money

We all know the affordability hurdle to getting proper mental health care, but there's a second layer people don't really talk about as much: actually finding the right therapist. 1/2

Manuscript editing shows you the various phases you had as a writer.

Like now, I'm editing through my semi-colon phase.

One chapter was like 75% sentences with semi-colons. That's too many.

I appreciate seeing my growth as an author, but still.

I'm certain that Comey is one of the few people that Trump doesn't want testifying under oath, and yet his big brain decline demanded it.
Comey is so unconcerned by this indictment. It's almost as if he's been wanting it this whole time.

Killed by a goyper who thinks he wasn't far right enough.
The entirety of Maga:
Blames everything for the death of Kirk, except for the goyper movement that exists eithing their own sphere.

Remember when Putin started the Ukraine war and certain um... people were all like, "I bet you wish Trump was president now!"
I wonder if anything from Trump winning the election to now has made them see that Trump being president would not have been a good thing. (And is much less a good thing now)

1/ Realized recently that my sprawling Epic Fantasy novel will likely not be picked up as a debut novel due to being too long by current debut author standards.

Apparently 160k seems to be the maximum agents want for the most part. Meanwhile, I'm going to struggle to get mine much lower than 190k

So far, in my revisions of my big fanatasy novel, I have:

Re-wrote the first chapter so that the characters were more in line with who I discovered them to be.

Completely replaced one flashback scene with another and added an additional flashback.
