I forgot to mention, I assume someone eventually realized that having a journalist inside for hours observing them was less than ideal so they taped bags up over every window in our cell so we couldn’t see out. At least not as well anyway, there are always gaps.
Yes, arresting a journalist for doing their job is a big flashing red light. But I don't want people to forget the whole reason everyone is out there.
This is what I saw inside:
Four holding rooms. Two smaller rooms were being used for holding protesters. Two larger rooms held ICE/CBP captives.

Shelter and homeless orgs need lots of items, but check to see what your local one needs. Clothes for men, women & kids & sneakers and boots too. All sizes including plus/big and tall. Winter hats, gloves/mittens. New socks & new underwear. If you have nothing to give you can donate $$ instead.
It’s the time of year you switch out clothing in your closet for the upcoming winter. When you pull out winter stuff if you have items you’re replacing, and old ones are in good condition with no holes, tears or stains, consider giving them to a shelter. Wash first.
