If you’re planning on watching any Lynch, my advice is: don’t watch any analysis videos, don’t think about what stuff is “supposed” to mean, just get your own unique experience from it!!
I think people have become far too concerned with the “correct” interpretations of media. Just experience it!!!

David Lynch gave us the language we needed to better articulate the indescribable strangeness of our shared reality. “Lynchian” is so overused because it’s a viscerally understandable word without any known synonyms. I can’t imagine a more beautiful artistic legacy than that.

RIP David Lynch. So sad that this is my first bluesky post but I'm so heartbroken. Genuinely cried forever guys. What a unique and genuine soul the earth blessed us with, I hope one day I can achieve half of what he has in his lifetime.
