It’s also good to see the MAC acknowledge the necessity of making the Skilled Worker visa more flexible, so that workers can more easily switch between employers.
Every worker deserves the right to leave a bad employer to take their work to one that needs and values them. 4/5

Construction workers often work irregular hours for contractors where oversight of conditions is lax. (Much like the care sector where rampant exploitation went unchecked)

Plasterers, floorers, tilers, and painters have been identified as ‘potentially crucial to prioritised sectors’, making them eligible for sponsorship by construction companies.
