Every time I see this stuff I'm shocked at how bad an idea this is.

1. The conclusion of this "fight" would help Republicans. Success for this plan would be a short-term victory that unengaged voters don't even notice. And those voters wouldn't see the effect of the coming cuts by election day. 1/
