Just heard an AI ethicist talk about how important it is that we say ‘MEN are using Grok to undress images of babies, children and women’ not ‘Grok is….’. Grok isn’t responsible for the action, the men enabling & using it for this repulsive purpose are. Small but important bit of linguistic accuracy

Human brains feed off of negativity. Negative thoughts are easily digested and play in a loop in your mind all of the time. The reality, however, is that there is also A LOT OF GOOD happening every single minute. You have to do more work to pay attention to the good but it's worth it.

I don’t find it productive to shame people for ‘showing up late’ wrt to social awareness. We all show up when we show up. But I strongly encourage new people who show up to do so while assuming a listening posture. I promise, we’ve heard your ideas & opinions before, back when we were less informed.

The first episode of Tamon's B-Side felt really fast-paced. There wasn’t time for some emotional beats to linger and so the climatic scene at the end of the episode felt rushed. Hayamin’s voice acting was amazing though. She never disappoints! The animation was also very good!
