There remains much more work ahead to ensure everyone—regardless of their gender, race, ethnicity, class, income level, or immigration status —can belong, participate, and thrive.
We look forward to seeing this momentum reflected in the federal budget on November 4th.

This announcement is an important step forward. It shows the federal government understands that investing in social infrastructure works.

Thank you to everyone who took action and wrote to their MPs about why this is not the time to turn away from investing in gender inclusion. As the Minister said, “I see you. Our government sees you. And we have heard you”. Your voices made a difference.
