I think the peaceful transfer of power is one of the best and least monarchic aspects of democracy, and converting something you're meant to hold on trust until that transfer is Not Good.

I would be happy to see the Canadians burn it again, however.

I do my fiction by preference of author/series, then chronologically within each series, after that by preference grouping author, then wherever it will fit. Non fiction by genre then author by preference. 😬 It makes sense to me but would likely drive someone else crazy.
