If it weren’t for Irish national newspapers who else would employ superficial, contrarian, narcissistic bores?

CC’s attempt to reframe the fox hunting issue to a need for humane culling seemed half-baked for someone who gives proper consideration to matters. Still, it wasn’t “rural pursuit” level of daftness and, if elected, it may help to have someone with biodiversity experience on the Council of State

The clergymen came over and started to speak Irish is, to put it mildly, a fairly positive spin on the Ulster Plantations. #aras25

“Rural pursuit” is a nice way of framing a horribly cruel British custom imposed here through colonialism. It’s now pursued by a tiny horn-blowing minority who may, or may not, be oblivious to the fact they’re cosplaying as red-coated British solidiers in the Tudor Conquest of Ireland.
🗣️ “If a fox is being ripped limb from limb and is dying a slow and agonising death - how can you say you abhor animal cruelty?”

🗣️ “These are rural pursuits and have been for many, many years.”

Heather Humphreys discusses her support for fox hunting and hare coursing.

This idiotic policy X infinity

Additionally… driving more and more people, who might normally be expected to afford home ownership, to a place where they require social housing support, thus creating an infinite loop of unaffordable housing clusterfuckology and billions in tax revenue wastage.
