A thought occurs to me this evening. You never really understand how much your parents love you until you're a parent yourself, and you never fully understand how much you love your parents until you lose one. What a joyful way to discover the first, and what a tragic way to discover the second.

The hardest lesson to learn when you are recovering from depression is that your isolation is just making you worse. Go be with friends that uplift you and love you. It works wonders.

The last 12 months have been really tough. Losing Mum especially. Hopefully, spring will offer a change of fortune. My little family have helped keep my face towards the sun, I'm lucky to have them.

Every person my age remembers a movie from their childhood made between 1977 and 1992 that was on VHS at a house where they can’t remember whose house it was or why they were there, and the movie was about a special boy fleeing government agents and they don’t know its title and never found it again

I don't know if I'm getting old... mentally speaking... but does anyone one else find themselves rewatching old movies that were considered B Movie Slop and worse back then and finding them way more cinematic than a lot of modern blockbusters? #Filmsky #Movies

My personal head cannon is that when Michael becomes human in #TheGoodPlace, he stays an architect in his life on earth. Eventually he retires after his wife dies and to alleviate his boredom he becomes #AManOnTheInside for a private investigator... but Shawn still likes messing with him.

A truly beautiful movie, and all the more magical if you had a dog as a child haha.
